CLASS# 2 - Metacognitive Reflection on Writers and Writing are a must


    When deciding the topic of my writing, I could not put ideas together. I had too many quantity of topics that it was difficult to choose one or the other, since any of them were absolutely innovative or inspirational to keep on writing.
    Some of them were about social issues, like the development of language through the time; others were about technology and its impact on the writing process; others about why children should read and write.
That is why, after writing lots of paragraphs about completely different think I realized I was at a lost. The more I wanted to choose a topic, the less viewpoints helped me to develop it. I really could not do anything in class.
    In the light of the information collected about the writing process, I realized that I has not taken into account: firstly, the audience, who was I writing to?. Secondly, the general steps, like topic sentence and its developers. Now, it is easier to see the reasons why I was so confused; it would have been useful to have these things in mind at the moment of writing.
